The Rogers County Historical Society hosts a Murder Mystery play and dinner as a fundraiser each year. Claremore's own Pink House restaurant serves the scrumptious prime rib dinner. Our next Murder Mystery event is Friday and Saturday, April 8 and 9, 2022, 6 pm. Jessica Ammons will directed Mark Ogle's play, The Butler Did It. Each play comes with an invitation to see if you can solve the mystery and win the coveted Super Sleuth Award. You won't want to miss this evening of food, fun and intrigue.

It is the 1920s. Gangsters like Bonnie and Clyde, Pretty Boy Floyd, Baby Face Nelson, and Ma Barker and her boys are running wild across the heartland of America. Combatting their reign of terror are J. Edgar Hoover and his FBI Agents. What happens when the bosses of two rival crime gangs decide to hold a secret summit in the small unassuming community of Claremore, away from the prying eyes of the FBI? Will they reach a truce, join forces to take over all of the Midwest, or decide to go to war? What will their impact be on the small town and the town's impact on them? The result could be murderous! Bring your detective skills and help solve the mystery.
